We Found Onions

Hello, Midwestern Yardeners! This week We really didn't get up to much in the garden this weekend. I have been on the search for onion sets, and finally found some this weekend. At the recommendation of a friend I checked out a local farm store. I was excited to find a large selection and ended up purchasing 150 sets.

I quickly got those sets home and planted them in the garden. I planted them around the perimeter of each raised bed and along side each of our cabbages in hopes it will help deter pests. We planted two varieties of sweet onion and one of red; all storage onions.

I also planted the flat of pansies we purchased a few weeks back. :)
